Frequently asked questions
- Why only ⅓ of CLV toward CAC?
- The remaining two-thirds needs to cover fixed costs, salary, and profit — and leave room if repeat purchases turn out lower than assumed. Some use the 1:3 rule (LTV : CAC).
- How do I raise CLV?
- More repeat purchases (email flows, subscriptions), a higher average order value (bundles, upsells), and a better margin on repeat orders where you're not paying for traffic again.
