Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-10-19
These terms apply between you and Maximilian Stefanov and Kristijan Stanojkovic, who run Trendmint as private individuals. Please read them together with the privacy policy.
In short
- Trendmint is a working tool for people who run or start an online shop. We show the source and time of what we show, but it is decision support, not guarantees or advice.
- The service is free right now. If we charge later you get information in advance, can cancel at any time and keep the rights the law gives consumers.
- The AI assistant is an AI system and can be wrong. You decide, and are responsible for, your own business decisions.
- You can export your data and delete the account whenever you want.
1. What Trendmint is
Trendmint is a web service that collects and shows information about suppliers, ads, trends, finances and rules for people who run or start an online shop, together with tools, a step-by-step guide and an AI assistant.
The information comes from open sources and from what you enter yourself. We show activity, not sales: we do not claim how much a product, ad or shop sells or earns. Where there is no basis, we show it as “Insufficient data” instead of guessing.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Give correct details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Get in touch right away if you suspect someone else has access to it.
- The account is personal. You may not share the login or sell access to it.
3. Price and payment
The service is free right now and you cannot pay for a plan yet. Prices and limits on the pricing page are preliminary. We will notify you in advance if we activate payments.
When payment is activated the following applies:
- You pay in advance for each period (month), through our payment provider Stripe. We do not store your card number.
- Before you buy you see the price, what is included, how often it is charged and how to cancel. The buy button makes it clear that you commit to paying.
- The subscription renews automatically for the next period at the current price until you cancel it.
- We may change the price. We tell you at least 30 days in advance and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
- If a payment fails we may pause the paid features until it goes through.
4. Cancellation and right of withdrawal
You can cancel at any time under Settings. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and until then you keep access. You can also delete the account; an ongoing subscription is then ended.
If you are a consumer and buy at a distance you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from when the contract was concluded. If you ask us to start the service immediately and then withdraw, you pay for the time you have used the service, in proportion to the price of the period. If you live in another EU country, the consumer rights you have there also apply. The right of withdrawal does not apply to businesses.
We give clear information about the right of withdrawal in the purchase flow before you pay.
5. The AI assistant and the nature of the information
When you use the assistant you are talking to an AI system. The answers are written automatically and may contain errors or be incomplete.
Trendmint's principle is that the AI does not guess: data should have a source, a time and a reliability level, and where there is no basis that should be clear. That describes how we work. It is not a guarantee that every piece of information is complete, current or correct.
Analyses, scores, trends, calculations and recommendations are decision support. They are not legal, tax or financial advice and not a promise of sales, profit or profitability. Check information at the source before you buy, contract or market.
Do not enter sensitive information or other people's personal data in the assistant.
6. How the service may be used
You may not:
- scrape the service, copy content in bulk, resell it or build a competing database from what we show,
- get around limits, measurement, security or access control, or put abnormal load on the service, for example with automated requests,
- try to reach other people's accounts or data, or insert malicious code,
- use the service in a way that is unlawful, misleading or infringes anyone's rights.
If you break this we may restrict or close the account. For serious breaches we do so immediately.
7. Your content and our rights
What you save in the service (calculations, notes, saved items) belongs to you. You give us the right to store and process it so that we can provide the service. You can export and delete it under Settings.
Trendmint's code, design, brand and compilations belong to Maximilian Stefanov & Kristijan Stanojkovic or its licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service under these terms.
8. Third-party data and links
The service shows data, images and links that come from others, for example shops, ad libraries and suppliers. They belong to their owners and we do not claim that we work with them or that they recommend us. Agreements you make with a supplier or shop are between you and them.
If you think something in the service infringes your rights, or shows wrong information about you or your company, email Maximilian.stefanov1@gmail.com. We review it without delay and remove what should be removed.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We aim for the service to work all the time but cannot guarantee it. We may maintain, change, add or remove features and data sources. If a paid service is materially degraded we tell you in advance. If we shut the service down we tell you at least 30 days before and refund prepayment for time you could not use.
If you are a consumer and a digital service does not match what was agreed, you have the rights the law gives you, including the right to have it brought into conformity, a price reduction or to terminate the contract. These terms do not affect them.
10. Liability
We are liable for damage in accordance with the law. Towards businesses we are only liable for direct damage, at most up to the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months, and not for lost profit, lost sales, consequential loss or damage caused by you relying on information in the service. The limitation does not apply in case of intent or gross negligence.
Towards consumers the rules of consumer legislation apply. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory law.
We are not liable for events beyond our control, for example outages at internet or hosting providers.
11. Ending the account
You can delete the account whenever you want under Settings. We may close an account that breaks the terms or misuses the service. After the account ends your data is deleted in accordance with the privacy policy.
12. Changes to the terms and transfer
We may change these terms. For material changes we tell you at least 30 days in advance. If you do not accept the change you can cancel the agreement or delete the account.
We may transfer the agreement, for example if the service or the company is sold, if the party taking over undertakes our obligations and processes personal data in accordance with the privacy policy. We tell you in advance. You may not transfer your account.
13. Governing law and disputes
Swedish law applies. As a consumer you can always bring a case in the courts of the country where you live, and you can have the dispute reviewed free of charge by the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) if we take part. Disputes with businesses are decided by Swedish general courts.
We always try to solve problems first. Contact Maximilian.stefanov1@gmail.com.
